Welcoming Manchester United’s new DAO

We would like to introduceEricka Williams - Our new Disability Access Officer you to Manchester United’s new Disability Access Officer (DAO) – Ericka Williams.

Ericka has kindly written a brief introduction for the MUDSA members:

“I joined Manchester United on 2 December 2025 as our Disability Access Officer. I have a wealth of experience from across the football industry, having previously worked at Nottingham Forest, Doncaster Rovers, and Harrogate Town AFC. Most recently at Nottingham Forest, I held the role of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Lead (EDI) alongside being the Disability Access Officer. I work closely with Level Playing Field, Alan March (Audio Descriptive Receivers), and the Premier League.

I am deeply passionate about accessibility and EDI, driven by a strong belief that football should be welcoming, inclusive, and accessible for everyone. Particularly my motivation lies in having the opportunity to remove barriers, improve lived experiences, and create environments where disabled supporters, all supporters, feel valued, respected, and heard. I am really looking forward to working closely with colleagues across the Club and to building a strong, collaborative relationship with MUDSA and all our disabled supporters, visible and non-visible, at Old Trafford and Leigh Sports Village.

I am excited to listen, learn, and support, ensuring that disabled supporters are at the heart of decision-making and continuous improvement. My goal is to be a welcome edition to the Manchester United and MUDSA families.”

We are sure you will all give Ericka a warm welcome to the club. Ericka can be found around the ground at home games and contacted through the accessibility team.
