Acceptable forms of proof of disability are listed below but the Club may accept other forms at their discretion:

  • A statement of higher rate mobility or care component Disability Living Allowance (DLA) – dated within 12 months.
  • Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Standard or Enhanced rate Mobility component, or Enhanced rate Daily Living component – dated within 12 months.
  • Blind or partially sighted registration certificate (BD8 or CVI Certificate) or evidence from an eye specialist, that the individual would qualify to be registered as severely sight impaired (blind) or sight impaired (partially sighted).
  • Confirmation in writing from Social Services that the individual is included on their Deaf Register.
  • Confirmation in writing from Social Services that the individual has a learning difficulty or disability. This may include Proof of Registration with Social Services, or if not on the Local Authority Register, a letter from a doctor or support worker.
  • A personal letter outlining access requirements from your hospital specialist – dated within the last 3 months.

For Men’s first team home games you need to be an Official Member to be eligible to purchase.

Wheelchair spaces and Amenity / Ease of Access tickets can be purchased directly through the website for most games.

For the highly in demand fixtures such as Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City and Chelsea, United Members must enter a ballot.

If eligible, you will also be allocated a complimentary ticket for a carer / PA.

For Women’s first team home games at Leight Sports Village, tickets are available on a general sale basis, however, please do contact us on accessibility@manutd.co.uk to ensure you are eligible to purchase seating suitable for your requirements.

For domestic league away games, tickets are available to eligible Season Ticket holders and applications are made directly through Manchester United — MUDSA does not allocate away tickets.

To be eligible, you must have a Silver Season Ticket, meaning you have completed three consecutive full seasons as a Season Ticket holder and renewed for your fourth season or beyond.

You must also meet the Club’s home cup ticket requirements.* If you fail to purchase a required home cup game, you lose your eligibility to apply for league away games. Importantly, this does not automatically reset at the start of the following season.

Eligibility is restored in the next season, in the days after the first home cup game for which you have purchased a ticket has been played.

*Example:

Dave has held a Season Ticket for three full seasons and renews for the 2026/27 season. His Season Ticket is now Silver.

Dave wants to apply for the first league away game of 2026/27. However, he is not yet eligible because no home cup game has yet been played that season.

When the first home cup game is drawn, Dave purchases his ticket. After the cup game has been played, Dave becomes eligible to apply for league away games.

Dave continues to purchase all required home cup games and retains his away eligibility.

Steph is in exactly the same position as Dave, but later in the 2026/27 season she does not purchase one of the required home cup games.

Steph therefore loses her eligibility to apply for league away games, and this carries over into the 2027/28 season.

When Steph purchases a home cup game in 2027/28, her eligibility is restored in the days following that game being played.

Season Ticket holders choose which cup competitions to opt into when renewing at the start of each season. When a home cup fixture is drawn, payment is normally taken automatically from their stored payment card. Physical attendance at the match is not required for this rule; however, eligibility is not added until after the game has been played because a ticket could be purchased and subsequently listed for resale.
