Accessible Season Ticket Usage / Non-Attendance Guidance

Following ongoing discussions between MUDSA and Manchester United regarding Accessible Season Ticket usage, renewals and non-attendance procedures, we want to share some interim guidance with members while fuller communications are worked on over the summer.

Please note this is intended as practical short-term guidance to help members protect their Season Ticket usage where they are unable to attend a match.

Manchester United Ticketing have advised the following:

As a reminder, listing your ticket for resale, forwarding it, or donating it all count towards Season Ticket Usage.

If you are unable to attend a game, the earlier you let the club know, the greater the chance another accessible supporter can make use of the ticket.

You can list your ticket for resale

The email inbox is not monitored during the two hours before kick-off, as the team are serving on the counter. However, someone will still be available to take your call for very last-minute cancellations.

We are also aware there remains a lot of confusion amongst supporters regarding what does and does not count towards usage, particularly in situations involving illness, carers/PA availability, and very short-notice cancellations.

Please do NOT assume that travelling to the ground simply to have tickets scanned and then leaving is necessary.

If you cannot attend, the safest course of action is to:

  • Use the app where possible to resell, donate, or forward your ticket
  • If you are struggling with the app or cancelling at short notice, phone the club on 0161 524 0211
  • Email accessibility@manutd.co.uk where possible so that you also have a written record of your communication

MUDSA will continue discussions with the club and we hope to produce more detailed and clearer guidance for members over the summer.
