Manchester United Foundation Scores Again
Some good news for a change…… The committee are thrilled that to tell you that the funding MUDSA has been able to provide to The Foundation for it’s Ability Counts programme, continues to enable disabled United fans moments of enjoyment in the midst of these difficult times.
They have continued to deliver the exercise class on a Wednesday morning and have now been up and running with face to face delivery of the Ability Counts programme since Friday 11th
September. This is a great achievement during difficult times and has been planned and delivered exceptionally well by our Disability and Inclusion Coordinator Matt Pilkington and his hardworking team.
Some key achievements are:
New venue of Eccles College has been chosen for Ability Counts, due to the restrictions on delivering the program indoors.
76 participants have engaged with the Under 16s and Over 16s sessions.
6 participants have engaged with the MUDSA exercise class from Wednesday 2nd September.
Here are a couple of quotes from parents:
‘Thanks for all you and your staffs continued support to all the families! It is really appreciated.’
‘Both our two really enjoyed the session and we are grateful for the kids to train with yourselves. We are also grateful to you for being so helpful and kind.’
MUDSA would like to say a big Well Done, to The Foundation and especially Matt and his team!
