Dwight Yorke scores again with the MUDSA crowd

MUDSA would like to say a big thank you to Michael Leneghan, host Jason Edge and of course United Treble winning Legend Dwight Yorke.

The lucky winners of our most recent draw got an hour of stories and Q&A with the star striker.

Dwight made us laugh with his stories about signing some rather strange places on female fans and how he didn’t get on with Stan Collymore. He spoke about partying the night away after winning the treble and also his amazing friendship with Andy Cole. It’s safe to say we could have listened to him all night.

I have to say it was one of the best player Q&As I’ve ever listened too and some fantastic questions were asked. The insight Dwight gave us into the struggles of getting into management at the top level for someone with his ethnic background were a real eye opener too.

The feedback from our members has been fantastic. One member had the first ever Dwight Yorke United shirt because he had inside info from his Grandad who was doing a plastering job for Doug Ellis (Aston Villa Chairman).
